To the right of the property there is a car park and beer garden is located to the left. Internally there is a good sized bar and various seating areas, complimented by a real fire. There is ample room for entertainment and dining if required. Living accommodation consists of 5 bedrooms, lounge, kitchen and bathroom. Thwaites will be upgrading the décor to attract new customers for both drinking and dining.
Thwaites are seeking an operator who is capable of introducing a food offer, engaging with the local community and is passionate to move the business forward.
Currently the White Lion’s trade comes from the local area and is community focused. Regular events are held such as a quiz night, live entertainment and charity events. Sky Sports & TNT are shown and are well received. There is also a darts board.

""This historic and beautiful pub will need a determined and focused couple to drive wet sales and re-introduce food. Sports plays a big part in the success of the pub as does live music and entertainment especially at bank holiday weekends, so operators will need to be enthusiastic and keen in these areas." Paul Murphy ABM"
