With over 400 years of history and located in the Forest Of Bowland AONB, The Ship at Caton is an inviting country pub with a real cosy feel. Exposed stone walls, low beamed ceilings and real open fires create a warm and friendly environment. Surrounding the bar there is extensive seating used for both drinking and dining. There is a large fully equipped catering kitchen, a large wrap around car park and a beer garden. The living accommodation consists of 4 bedrooms, large bathroom, lounge, kitchen, office and large storage room.
Trade at the Ship comes from the local village and surrounding areas. It also benefits from passing trade due to its location. Caton has been named as one of the top five places to live in the UK. There is currently a darts team on Thursdays which runs from September to March. Along with a regular wet trade, a full food offer is provided. For the Ship we are looking for an operator with catering experience who is operational within the business.
