Located just outside of the village of Tottington, the Swan is a large, stand alone building with excellent curb appeal. To the left of the central bar there is a corner snug area with a real fire, which is appealing to drinkers. To the rear of the property there is a games room containing a pool table and darts board. There is extensive seating looking out over the beer garden, which is used for dining. A good size fully equipped catering kitchen and storage/prep area allows a full menu to be offered daily. The living accommodation consists of 2 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom, kitchen, lounge and bathroom. There is a smoking shelter located to the front of the property. At the rear there is a large beer garden including a children’s play area and a car park runs alongside.
Trade at the Swan comes from the local villages and towns. As the pub is located on a main road it also benefits from passing trade. Entertainment is held every Saturday. Functions are held throughout the year for birthdays, funerals, children’s parties and Christenings. Seasonal events such as Bonfire Night and New Years Eve parties prove popular with customers. Both pool and darts teams make use of the pub regularly. along with local charity groups. Food is served from Wednesday – Sunday from opening until 7pm. Current opening hours are Monday – Wednesday 3pm-11pm, Thursday 12pm – 11pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12pm- 11.30pm.
