With spectacular views of the Pendle countryside, the Shooters is a large stand-alone building which has been refurbished to a high standard. There is extensive seating throughout for both drinkers and diners. Open fires give the pub a cosy, welcoming feel during the colder months, with the beautiful beer garden offering seating during summer. A games room is located at the back, complete with games machines, pool table and a darts board. There is a fully-equipped catering kitchen which was installed during the refurbishment. The living accommodation is vast and consists of four double bedrooms, an office, kitchen and bathroom with a separate room for the W/C. There is a car park located to the right of the pub and a smoking shelter to the rear.

Trade at the Shooters comes from locals who live in the nearby villages and towns and people passing by. The area is popular with walkers, horse riders, bikers and cyclists, who all use the pub for refreshments. Band nights are held regularly, along with race nights, charity nights and a pub quiz. Sky Sports proves popular with customers, the darts team use the pub regularly and there is a pool team during the winter. The Shooters hosts Christenings, Birthdays and Funerals. This pub would support a regular food offer.
