Located in the town of Brimington, the Ark Tavern has a great central location, which benefits from passing traffic into the town. Refurbished in 2018, high standards have been maintained throughout. The bar is located to the right, overlooking a large open plan trade area. There is a mixture of high poseur seating, dining areas and a pool table. The left of the property is used for live entertainment and the dining tables can be removed from the wall to allow extra space. Externally there is a large beer garden at the rear and recently installed children’s play equipment, along with a good sized car park. Living accomodation consists of 3 bedrooms, lounge, kitchen, bathroom and office.
Trade at the Ark comes from the local town and surrounding areas, with many people visiting from further afield for the live entertainment. The Ark is famous locally for its live entertainment, there are jam nights on Tuesdays, a Quiz on Wednesdays, live bands on Saturdays and karaoke on Sundays. On Mondays the pub hosts 2 pool teams with the players using the pub regularly. Currently the pub provides buffets for events and food for the pool teams. There is potential to introduce a regular fresh food food offering, as there is little competition for this in the area. The current opening hours are Monday- Thursday 4pm- 11.30pm, Friday 4pm- 12.30am, Saturday 12-1am and Sunday 12pm – 12am.
