The pub benefits from breathtaking views of the West Yorkshire countryside which customers can enjoy from inside and outside of the pub. There is a car park to the rear of the building and parking space at the front. The main entrance leads to a bar/lounge area with a variety of fixed, booth and high seating. There is a small bar which offers a variety of premium drinks and a range of cask ales. There is a cosy atmosphere, especially so with a log burner located between the two trading areas. The dining room is comfortable and attractive, it leads to an outside area which is utilised for drinking and dining. There is also a small seating space outside the front of the pub. There was an investment at the Winterburn in 20** and this has been well maintained. Standards are excellent and the pub is very well presented.

The living accommodation has two bedrooms, living room, bathroom and kitchen and a nice outside area.

Customers from local surroundings visit the pub for drinks as well as dining but the trade is food led and the pub has an excellent reputation for locally sourced, home cooked food. There are periodic changes to the menu and specials. The menu is a combination of pub classics and dishes from around the world, all being of premium quality and presentation. There is a brunch offer at weekends plus a steak night and burger night. The pub caters for functions and events and offers buffet options.
