Located in the busy market town of Clitheroe, next to the railway station, The Inn at the Station is a beautiful, stand-alone, Victorian pub. A large central bar serves the surrounding extensive seating areas. Fully refurbished throughout in 2010, high standards have been maintained and further updates and improvements have been made yearly by the tenants. Upstairs, there is a private meeting room along with eight en-suite letting bedrooms, each with their own individual style, five double bedrooms, one twin bedroom and two superior bedrooms. Also located on the upper floors is a one-bedroom manager’s flat. To the rear of the property, there is an attractive beer garden, smoking shelter and parking available.
Being located in the heart of Clitheroe, trade comes from locals in the town, surrounding towns and villages and further afield; due to great transport links on their doorstep. Using local produce, all food is freshly cooked to order and is popular with all ages. The pub regularly hosts buffets for Christenings, Birthdays and Funerals. Seasonal events such as Christmas food menus are offered and many local businesses use the pub for their Christmas meals/parties. There is a quiz night every Tuesday and a band night on the last Friday of every month. Many local events increase footfall at the pub such as the Clitheroe Food Festival held in August, Jazz Festival held at Easter, Mod weekend held in September and various Christmas events held in November and December. Letting rooms are extremely popular with those travelling on business, people looking for single occupancy rooms and Weddings. Rooms are advertised on the pub’s website and external hotel websites such as booking.com.
