Trading Style

Trading Style

Being located in the heart of Clitheroe, trade comes from locals in the town, surrounding towns and villages and further afield; due to great transport links on their doorstep. Using local produce, all food is freshly cooked to order and is popular with all ages. The pub regularly hosts buffets for Christenings, Birthdays and Funerals. Seasonal events such as Christmas food menus are offered and many local businesses use the pub for their Christmas meals/parties. There is a quiz night every Tuesday and a band night on the last Friday of every month. Many local events increase footfall at the pub such as the Clitheroe Food Festival held in August, Jazz Festival held at Easter, Mod weekend held in September and various Christmas events held in November and December. Letting rooms are extremely popular with those travelling on business, people looking for single occupancy rooms and Weddings. Rooms are advertised on the pub’s website and external hotel websites such as booking.com.
