The central bar is surrounded by a main trading area and a tap room located to the left. Currently the tap room is used as a sports area which contains a pool table and darts board. The fully equipped catering kitchen can support a regular food offer. To the front of the building there is a decked beer garden, with a smoking shelter to the right. There is also parking located at the front of the property. A large private garden is at the rear. Living accommodation consists of 2 bedrooms, an office (which could be used as a single bedroom), lounge, a newly fitted kitchen and newly fitted bathroom. New carpets have been fitted throughout and the living accommodation has been recently redecorated.

Trading Style

Trade at the Dog comes from the surrounding houses and villages, with some new customers from further afield. Introducing a regular food offer would be a benefit to this village pub, pizzas have been offered in the past and were well received. There are live bands every Saturday and various charity events throughout the year such as Dog Fest, Duck Race, October Fest and Christmas Markets. Live sports is shown via Sky & BT Sports and it proves popular with customers. The current tenants have installed a large projector screen which has increased footfall during sporting events. Current opening hours are Monday – closed, Tuesday 3pm-11pm, Wednesday & Thursday 3pm-12am, Friday and Saturday 12pm -1am and Sunday 12pm – 12am.
