Trade at the Kings comes from the local towns and villages, along with passing traffic, local contractors/businesses and tourists. Capernwray Diving Centre is close by and visitors here use the pub regularly between March – November. Food is locally sourced, made fresh to order, often using vegetables from their allotments at the bottom of the car park, the pub has a great reputation. There is a pool team on Tuesdays, the tennis club use the pub regularly and there is a pensioners lunch on the 2nd Wednesday of every month, which is very popular. Food is served Monday – Thursday 12pm-2pm and 5-pm-9pm. Friday, Saturday and Sunday food is served all day. Opening hours for the pub are Monday – Wednesday 12pm-11pm, Thursday – Saturday 12pm- 12am and Sunday 12pm-11pm
