Situated in the idyllic village of Delph, the White Lion is a beautiful country pub, at the heart of the community. The central bar is surrounded by snug areas for drinking and dining, which are complimented by real fires. Externally there is a good sized beer garden which is popular in the summer months. The living accommodation consists of 3 bedrooms, kitchen, lounge and bathroom. As part of the tenancy offer we will be carrying out works to the living accommodation.
Known locally for it’s freshly prepared classic pub favourites and quality cask ale, the White Lion has a great reputation. There are weekly specials such as curry night and pie day, along with a very popular Sunday lunch. Breakfasts are served at weekend and the pub trades well from this offer. Local events such as sheep shearing, tractor runs, Whit Friday and summer BBQ’s attract people from the local towns and villages. The pub has a great relationship with the local football team and they use the pub regularly. Current opening hours are:
Bar: Sunday to Thursday 12pm- 11.30pm | Friday & Saturday 12pm-1am
Breakfast served: Saturday 9am-11:30am | Sunday 9am-10:45am
Food served: Monday & Tuesday 12pm-8pm | Wednesday to Saturday 12pm-9pm | Sunday 12pm-7pm

The TLC day is for experienced operators who have held a recent tenancy with a pub company or brewery.
