










Located in the affluent village of Woodplumpton, 5 miles outside of Preston and dating back to the 16th Century, the Plough is a stunning destination food pub. The impressive building boasts character throughout with many original features. Internally there are two bars, a snug area, a large dining area leading onto the conservatory and a separate room which can be used for private events. Open fires create a cosy and welcoming environment, perfect for dining and socialising. Benefiting from a very large commercial kitchen and trading area, the pub has a fantastic reputation for providing fresh, local, homecooked food. Externally there is a spacious car park and a large beer garden which is extremely popular during the warmer months. Living accommodation consists of 2 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom, office, bathroom, shower room, storage area and a lounge with kitchenette.
With an established reputation locally the Plough attracts regular local trade from those within the village. There are many visitors attracted to the area which sits between the Forest of Bowland and the Lancashire coast. Being known for for fresh, locally sourced food, the pub attracts customers from the local towns, villages and further afield. Throughout the year there are events such as cabaret nights and an extremely popular firework display. Footfall is increased within the area during local events such as the Scarecrow Festival. Many people use the pub for meetings such as the golf society and car clubs. During the summer months the pub is popular with cyclists and walkers.
