Situated between Honley and Holmfirth on Woodhead road, the Jacobs Well has fantastic curb appeal. To the right of the pub, up a decked staircase, a beautiful extended beer garden/barbecue area is surrounded by flowers, plants and trees. Ample parking is available outside the pub on the main road.
The living accommodation consists of two double bedrooms with fitted wardrobes, a large lounge, kitchen and bathroom.
Offering high-quality, home-cooked food, the trade at the Jacobs Well reflects this, while maintaining a regular drinking trade. Holmfirth is home to Last of the Summer Wine, Where the Heart Is and films/TV series are still filmed there today. Woodhead Road is part of the route for Tour De Yorkshire which occurs annually and increases the footfall at the pub dramatically. The pub benefits from cyclists, walkers and visitors to local campsites, B&B’s and holiday cottages. It hosts Hen Parties, Funerals, Weddings and Birthday Parties throughout the year. The Picturedrome and South Gate Theatre are located nearby and the local badminton team use the pub regularly. A quiz is held every Tuesday, charity events are held throughout the year and seasonal events are held at Christmas and New Year.
