Thwaites are seeking an operator who has experience running a busy, sports themed venue. Our refurbishment will be similar to the scheme recently excuted at the Fox and Hounds at Ewood.
The Grey Horse is located on the main road leading to Accrington Stanley Football Club. It has a good sized bar on the left of the trade area and various seating areas. To the rear there is a pool room and a small beer garden with smoking shelter. The living accommodation consists of 2 double bedrooms, large lounge, smaller lounge/dining area, office, bathroom, storage area and kitchen.
Trade at The Grey Horse comes from the local area and football fans visiting Accrington Stanley. There is a weekly Quiz on Thursdays, all live sports are shown on Sky Sports, BT Sports and Amazon Prime. Pool teams compete on Thursdays and in the past there has been live entertainment. Current opening hours are Monday – Sunday:
