Internally, the central bars are surrounded by numerous seating areas, which can be used for both drinking and dining. There is a sports room which features a pool table and fully equipped catering kitchen. Externally there is a raised beer garden and smoking shelter. A large car park wraps around the building. Living accommodation consists of 4 bedrooms, lounge, kitchen, bathroom and a function room area, which is currently used as an office/bedroom.
Trade at the Dugdale comes from the local residential areas, with the pub being at the heart of the community. Taking advantage of the catering kitchen, a regular food offer could be introduced to improve trade and encourage customers from further afield. On Friday nights the pub offers karaoke, seasonal/charity events have been held in the past and live entertainment also proved popular. A pool team uses the pub on Mondays and there is the potential to reintroduce Sky & BT Sports. Current opening hours are Monday 4pm-12am, Tuesday closed, Wednesday & Thursday 4pm- 12am, Friday 2pm-12am, Saturday & Sunday 12pm – 12am.
