The Dale Inn sits on the main road running through Denby Dale and is a prominent stone building with some outside seating area to the front. Downstairs, the pub has an open-plan lounge serviced by a central bar. There is an open fire and comfortable fixed seating. The pub is used weekly by a local darts team which features professional players. Live music and entertainment have also proved popular in the pub. Upstairs, there is a large restaurant/function room which previously traded as a Thai restaurant. The restaurant is fully-furnished and there is a small bar area and dumb waiter to deliver food from the first-floor kitchen. There is a small one bedroom flat on the first floor of the pub.
Wet trade generally comes from the local community. Previously, the restaurant has attracted customers from further afield. There is a residential home adjacent to the pub which would be an opportunity for daytime trade.
**The Dale is currently closed, as part of the tenancy offer Thwaites will be redecorating the trading areas**
