The pub benefits from local trade and people visiting the village. Entertainment is provided regularly on Saturdays. The Crown supports seasonal events such as the Croston Fest, Coffee Day and the Christmas Festival. The pub supports the local boules and shooting season, with many people using the pub regularly during this time. The Crown has a regular food offer of popular pub classics using local produce. Current trading hours are Monday – Friday12-11.45pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am – 12.15am.
