Externally there is car parking surrounding the property, a smoking shelter with heaters and two outside seating areas. There is also a large storage shed at the rear and a garage. Living accommodation consists of 5 bedrooms, bathroom, lounge, kitchen, an office and attic space used for storage.
Trade at the Boot and Shoe comes from the local village and surrounding areas. With a mixture of regular drinkers and diners and those who travel from further afield. A quiz is held weekly on Sunday and there is regular live entertainment. Seasonal events such as Halloween, Christmas and New Year prove popular with customers. Current opening hours are Monday – Closed, Tuesday – Friday 4pm until 11.30pm, Friday 12pm-11.30pm and Sunday 12pm-11pm.
