The Blue Bell is an established food led business, the pub sits on the main road running through the Village of Carlton in Lindrick, part of the Bassetlaw district. As part of the tenancy offer, Thwaites will be carrying out a refurbishment of the property this will include:
Redecoration of upstairs flat, the project consists mainly of extending the car park into the grassed area to the left of the building, providing a covered decking area to the rear for outdoor dining and refurbishing the internals to create more dining space and modernise the pub.
Trade comes both from the local village and surrounding areas as the pub has an excellent reputation for food and ranks #1 for restaurants within a 25 mile radius of Carlton in Lindrick. A marquee has been used for Christmas and other peak times to give additional covers. Entertainment is generally run with a food theme and has included live acts and performers. A weekly quiz and bingo attracts local drinkers. The pub is known for superb hospitality and excellent quality home cooked, fresh pub food with a good range of specials.
