The property was popular with the locals in the village and visitors from North Sheffield, the Blue Ball offered a value dining menu to attract lunch time trade. Food was home-cooked and the value menu was available alongside the regular menu. A quiz night with Karaoke was held every other Thursday, Carvery and Quiz on Sundays, with live entertainment on Saturday nights. Various events are held throughout the year including seasonal events at Easter, Halloween and Christmas. The property is currently closed but is in very good condition and ready to trade.
