The Ambleside Tavern has a premium location on the high street running through Ambleside, a popular Lakes town close to Windemere. The town is frequented by tourists, walkers, climbers and visitors throughout the year but predominantly in the summer season. The interior of the pub is quirky and there are three trading levels. The main bar area is traditional in decor and usually seats diners as well as drinking customers. There is an upper level where customers view televised sports from a projector screen. There are stairs from the entrance of the pub down to a spacious cellar bar which has a DJ stand, separate bar, sports screen, darts and pool table. This area is popular with the student population in the town and hosts student nights with deals and offers. The pubs runs weekly live entertainment, gin night and a food offer all week which consists of a traditional British menu.

There is no outside area but 2 parking spaces to the rear of the building. Living accommodation consists of 3 bedrooms, kitchen and shower room.
