The White Horse is an established business located in the large village of Whitwick, Leicestershire. The pub enjoys a main road location and has a large car park. The traditional but quirky building consists of one main lounge with a central bar that leads to a games/pool room. At the other side of the lounge there is a small comfortable snug with fixed seating. There are benches outside of the pub and the car park is large enough to accommodate a stage for events.
Living accommodating consists of 3 bedrooms, kitchen, utility room and bathroom.
Trade comes mainly from regular customers and there is a real community feel to this pub. Day time trade is mainly older clientele who call in for a sociable pint. Sky and BT sports are an important feature and ongoing sporting events are advertised throughout the pub and via social media. There is no food offer but there is a sandwich offer from the bar. Two pool teams and a ladies darts team benefit mid week trade. Entertainment and karaoke runs occasionally. The pub is open from 11.30am every day.
